Use of Passive

Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known, however, who or what is performing the action.

Example: My bike was stolen.

In the example above, the focus is on the fact that my bike was stolen. I do not know, however, who did it.

Sometimes a statement in passive is more polite than active voice, as the following example shows:

Example: A mistake was made.

In this case, I focus on the fact that a mistake was made, but I do not blame anyone (e.g. You have made a mistake.).

Form of Passive

Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)

Example: A letter was written.

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:

• the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence
• the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)
• the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is dropped)

	Passive:	A letter	would have been written	by Rita.

Passive Sentences with Two Objects 

Rewriting an active sentence with two objects in passive voice means that one of the two objects becomes the subject, the other one remains an object. Which object to transform into a subject depends on what you want to put the focus on.

The Death Arena of Hysteria

Hysteria is one of the famous outdoor arena in the world. It is a kind of challenging  arena to test your adrenaline like roller coaster and tornado. Hysteria’s formation has some seats which composite in a big square with connect to a big and tall circle pole inside.  Usually hysteria has fifty meters high. In each play there will be 20 to 40 people who sit in the seats. It is depend on how big the hysteria is.

To join the hysteria outdoor arena you have to queue in line first because it is the most popular outdoor arena, so people are exited about it. You may stand in line for about fifteen minutes. After that the guard please you to sit in the seats given.Then you can allowed to come inside and feel this adrenaline outdoor arena. 

Furthermore, the machine slowly goes up all the people in the seats. Then it stops in the air for several seconds. And suddenly it falls down you all with 300 kilometers /hour speed. You might feel that your heart is left on the top. You might also feel that you are going to die while the seats fall down in unexpectedly speed. Then while you are falling down with that high speed your bottom is not touching to the seat. So you feel fly while it goes down with high speed. You will go up and down by the machine for many times. Sometimes it goes slowly but suddenly it goes faster. 

After the game finish, you might feel sway, unstable and fly while your feet touching the land. Sometimes people get headache and vomit after they play in hysteria. Not many of them will come back to play it again. However the others will stand in line and play in hysteria game again and again.

Wrong Perspective Among Society Toward College Student Marriage

Most people think that being marriage while in college is terrible, whereas not always it can be right. Besides marriage help you to avoid free sex, college student marriage also have some other benefits. The first, being marriage help you become more independent, because he/she has a family now. Being college student marriage make some good act  at you, for instance you might be mature, be responsible, and be confidence because your spouse is always stand by you.

Also being marriage while in college will save money. It support your financial aid. All of the foods and  beverages  can be cheaper if you share it together. If you used to spend one gallon of water by yourself, having a spouse will only spend one and a half gallon of water.  It will be benefit also in renting a house or using transportation together. Pay a rent house together would be cheaper than pay alone.

 In Addition college student marriage is also have other positive effect, it will increase your spirit because your spouse always motivate you. So being marriage while in college is not always bad, it depends on that spouse how to make it in positive way.

Breast Cancer can have several causes. Many people think that the major cause of breast cancer is unhealthy lifestyle. But there are also some causes of breast cancer. Some people get breast cancer because of genetic factor. Futhermore some of them have overweight or obesitas.  Age is also effect to breast cancer, the older woman have more risk in breath cancer than young girls and woman around 50-69 have a big risk with it. And the most cause that get attention is junk food and MSG. in addition become a passive smoker can also increase the risk of breast cancer. That’s all some causes of breast cancer and make sure you avoid all of them.
